Handbuilding ceramics intensive courses are available to book for adult and teenagers from 16 years old.

These courses take place during six sessions of two hours each and allow you to have a complete summary of what is to be a ceramicist.

In this program we enroll:

• Quick theoretical introduction to the profession of ceramicist and process to make a cup with the pinching technique.
• How to make plates with the slab technique.
• Handbuilt a vase with the coil technique.
• Work with molds to do different size of bowls and trimming/finishing pieces.
• Reclaiming clay process.
• Engobe colors and glaze applications.
• How to load the kiln for bisque and glaze firing.
• A summary of all techniques learned by creating the pieces of your choice.

Weekdays are available except Monday.

RESPONSABILITIES

All materials and tools are included and we will fire and glaze the pieces after the class, these will be ready to collect within 8 weeks maximum. We provide aprons but we suggest to bring comfortable clothes that are okay getting clay on. We offer a coffee, latte or organic tea.
